distribution of land and
sea are the weather
conditions in the Wadden
area not the same as the
rest of the mainland.
The western Wadden area
has a pronounced Wadden
climate than the eastern
Wadden area.
General characteristics of
the Wadden weather.
The wind makes the average
weather on the islands is
rougher than anywhere
else in our country.
In summer the climate is
sunnier than the mainland.
The western isles are the
sunniest. The annual
precipitation on the islands
is almost the same as on
the mainland. However,
there is less rain in the
summer. In July, the
difference is greatest. The
western Wadden islands
are averaged over the year
slightly warmer than the east
islands. There is never
extreme heat or cold for.
The Wadden have a different
cloud patterns. In the Wadden
Sea is formed during winter ice
faster than it would at first sight
thinking. The differences in
temperature on the same island
on clear summer days still
unexpectedly large (microclimate).
On the Wadden islands, there's
little summer fog.
